Make this unforgettable journey with the Torres del Paine Tour Full Day Tour, departing from Puerto Natales to explore the highlights of the Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

We’ll pick you up at your accommodation in Puerto Natales. The first stop is Cerro Castillo, gateway to the park. Then, we’ll continue to Lake Sarmiento Viewpoint, the perfect spot to capture your first panoramic views of the Torres del Paine reflecting on the water.

Next, you’ll visit Laguna Amarga Viewpoint, home to flamingos and stunning views of the towers. After entering the park through Laguna Amarga gate, you’ll pass by Lake Nordenskjöld, and stop at Salto Grande Waterfall, offering breathtaking sights of the Cuernos del Paine.

The route continues to Lake Pehoé and finally to Lake Grey, where you’ll have free time for lunch and a walk along the beach. Weather permitting, you may see floating icebergs carried by the wind from the Grey Glacier.

On the way back, you’ll explore the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, where remains of this prehistoric animal were discovered. Finally, we’ll return to Puerto Natales to end the adventure.

Important notes:

  • Itinerary may change depending on daily conditions.
  • The 10:30 AM time for the group tour is ideal for getting more rest and starting later, or for arriving from Punta Arenas and making it in time for the tour.
  • Return time is subject to weather; we recommend planning your departure from Puerto Natales at least 3 hours after the estimated return or the following day.
  • Due to safety measures following the detection of cracks and instability in the roof, access to the Milodon Cave is partial until December 31, 2026. During the visit, entry is limited to the interior viewpoint and information panels.
  • Pick-up and drop-off are included only for accommodations within Puerto Natales city. Not available for hotels outside the city, such as Cabañas Joshen Aonken, Cabañas Kauken, Hotel Lago Grey, Hotel Las Torres, Hotel Llanuras de Diana, Hotel Río Serrano, Hostería Lago del Toro, Hostería Pehoé, Hotel del Paine, Hotel Garden Domes, and Hostal El Puestero.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The activity is available year-round. While summer (December to March) brings a higher chance of clear skies, Patagonian weather, its mix of clouds, rain, and wind, can occur at any time of year. For that reason, we recommend coming prepared and set for all kinds of weather, including the possibility of not seeing the Torres del Paine if they’re covered.

  • No. Under typical local conditions such as rain, snow, or cloud cover, the activity operates as normal. Only in extreme situations that could compromise visitor safety (such as whiteout conditions, heavy snow accumulation, or strong gusts), or due to force majeure (such as road closures or strikes), might the activity be suspended. These situations are very rare and usually happen only once or twice a year.

  • In this tour, the mountain range formed by the Torres del Paine and the Cuernos del Paine is seen in a panoramic way from the viewpoints of Amarga Lagoon and Sarmiento Lake, to an approximate distance of 20 kilometers. The view of the mountain range is always subject to the cloud conditions. It is important to say that this tour does not visit the Base of the Torres del Paine, which is possible making the Base of Torres del Paine Hike or the W Circuit.

  • Lunch is not included in the tour. You will have time for lunch in a coffe shop inside the national park. You will have the possibility to buy a quick lunch or having your own, in case you bring it with you.
  • This is a panoramic tour, in which the vehicle makes stops to have a better look of some tourist interest points. The distances walked are very short, just to get closer to a lookout and have a better perspective, so it is not physically demanding at all.

  • The entrance fee is valid for 3 consecutive days, so you can re-enter without paying again, as long as you pass for one of the entrances so valid your ticket.

  • The Torres del Paine Full Day is a panoramic tour suitable for all travelers. It includes a visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument and the most iconic viewpoints within Torres del Paine National Park. In contrast, the Base of Torres del Paine Hike is a demanding tour of approximately 8 hours round trip that reaches the Base of Torres viewpoint, located directly in front of the three iconic granite towers. Both experiences are different and complementary. While the Full Day tour allows you to explore the park in a comfortable and scenic way, the Base of Torres del Paine Hike involves a significant physical challenge, so an excellent fitness level and previous trekking experience are required.

  • The Torres del Paine Full Day is a panoramic tour suitable for all travelers. It includes a visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument and the most iconic viewpoints within Torres del Paine National Park. In contrast, the Torres del Paine Viewpoints Trek consists of low- to moderate-difficulty hikes to alternative viewpoints within the park, accessible only on foot. It is designed for travelers who enjoy walking and have a good level of physical fitness. Both activities are different and complementary. The Full Day is the classic tour that allows you to visit the main highlights without significant physical effort, while the Viewpoints Trek offers a more active way to explore the park, with views of the same landscapes from different angles.
