Description
If you are not in Puerto Natales, you can check the tour’s availability and price from El Calafate.
We’ll leave Puerto Natales to begin a 5.5-hour journey to Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina. After completing border formalities at Don Guillermo Pass, a local guide will join in El Calafate and accompany you to Los Glaciares National Park.
Your visit to the park will last about 1.5 hours, giving you time to explore the panoramic walkways facing the glacier and several viewpoints. If you’re lucky, you may witness a massive ice collapse over 70 meters high, one of Patagonia’s most awe-inspiring natural spectacles.
You’ll also have the option to split your time: 30 minutes on the walkways and a 1-hour boat tour in front of the glacier (not included). The navigation is subject to confirmed departures, weather conditions, and the absence of delays at the border crossing.
You will be able to make this tour in one of the following ways:

Important notes
- If you select the delayed return option, whether in summer or winter, please remember to indicate your return date in the “Additional comments” field that will appear during the booking process.
- Documentation: all passengers must present a valid ID card or passport in good condition (no tears, patches, or damage to the chip or QR code). Without this requirement, the reservation is invalid and no refunds will be issued outside the cancellation policy deadlines.
- Travel times: customs procedures may cause delays. Do not purchase outbound tickets from Puerto Natales for the same evening as the tour.

The tour is made during the whole year, even though not all types of programs are available during the whole year. Full day and Return in another date are available from September to April, while the option Return the next day is the only one available between May and August. - Only if you are a foreigner with permanent residence in Chile you will be able to cross the border showing your Chilean ID card. In case you are a foreigner with temporary residence in Chile, you must present your passport to cross the border.
- There are some exchange offices in downtown Puerto Natales, by the Arturo Prat St., near the church. If you have limited time, maybe it is suitable for you to exchange money before going to Puerto Natales.

If you are visiting the park only for this tour, you should buy the “Portal de acceso corredor Río Mitre y Glaciar Perito Moreno” ticket. If you plan to visit the park for multiple days, you should buy the “Flexipass Los Glaciares."
- The Nautical Safari is made in a catamaran with a panoramic deck, where you can go to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The ship can change, but always will have a capacity from 60 people.
Yes, there is a coffee shop inside the park, near the entrance to the walkways. You can buy snacks and drinks, and lunch for around AR$ 9.000. The payment methods available are cash and credit card. If you want to bring your own snacks and lunch, remember that these have to be packaged products and bottled water.
Depending on the tour arrangement for your selected date, transportation may be in a 15-passenger Sprinter van (or similar) or a standard bus with capacity for up to 45 passengers.
