Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama - Border - Lagoons
We will begin the adventure by picking you up from your accommodation and traveling in a 4x4 vehicle to the Hito Cajón border crossing, where you will complete the migration procedures and we will start our journey through the Bolivian Altiplano:
- Green Lagoon and White Lagoon: two magical lakes at the foot of the impressive Licancabur Volcano, whose waters change color depending on the wind.
- Polques Hot Springs: relax in natural hot springs while enjoying the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
- Sol de Mañana Geysers: a lunar landscape with fumaroles and bubbling mud craters that reach extreme temperatures.
- Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon): a breathtaking natural spectacle with reddish waters, home to thousands of Andean flamingos that fill the scenery with life and color.
At the end of the day, we will arrive at the lodge in the Altiplano area to have dinner and rest.
Day 2: Altiplanic Lagoons - Valley of Rocks - Uyuni Salt Flat
We will wake up early to continue our route through the Altiplano and discover landscapes that seem from another planet:
- Anaconda Canyon: An impressive viewpoint where you can see a river winding like an anaconda.
- Route through Alota: A journey with unique landscapes and Andean communities full of history.
- Salar de Uyuni: Admire the famous hexagonal salt formations and experience the immensity of the salt desert.
- Incahuasi Island: An oasis with giant cacti in the middle of the salt flat, offering 360° panoramic views from the top.
- Salt Museum and Dakar Monument: Fascinating constructions made entirely of salt.
- Colchani Village: Discover local life, learn about the artisanal salt production process, and take home unique souvenirs.
- Train Cemetery: A historic site filled with old, rusting locomotives that evoke times past.
At sunset, we will enjoy one of the most magical landscapes on the planet: the sunset over the Uyuni Salt Flat, where the reflections of the sky create an unforgettable spectacle. Afterwards, we will arrive at the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Return to San Pedro de Atacama
At dawn, we will begin the journey back to the Chilean border to complete the migration procedures. Finally, you will arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, where this unforgettable journey comes to an end, a unique trip that combines nature, adventure, and surreal landscapes, perfect for travelers seeking a magical experience in South America.

*The pickup service included does not operate to nor from accommodations located outside the urban area of San Pedro de Atacama, accommodations located in ayllus near San Pedro de Atacama (Quitor, Yaye, Checar, Sequitor, Solor, and Coyo), nor accommodations in the town of Toconao.

Each passenger may carry at most one bag or suitcase of 15 kilos which will go above the 4x4. Although the accommodations provide blankets, during the colder months (June, July, and August), it is necessary to bring a sleeping bag, which you can rent directly at the San Pedro de Atacama office a day before the tour starts, for a price of CLP$ 10.000. During the rest of the year, a sleeping bag is not needed.
We recommend bringing at least Bs. 500 per person for expenses not included in the tour, such as park entry fees, taxes, access to bathrooms, and water. On Toconao Street in San Pedro de Atacama (intersection with Caracoles), you can find some exchange houses where you can obtain bolivianos to take with you on the tour.
