Descripción
We’ll depart before sunrise from San Pedro de Atacama to the launch site. After a welcome coffee, your pilot will explain how the balloon works and go over safety measures. You’ll be able to join the cold-inflation process and even step inside the balloon for photos before takeoff.
The hot-air balloon flight lasts about 1 hour and uses a basket for up to 6 passengers (Lalcktur flight: two compartments with three people each). During the ride, float over the Atacama Desert with panoramic views of the surrounding volcanoes and the Salt Mountain Range. After landing, we’ll drive back to San Pedro de Atacama.
Important notes
- Maximum 6 passengers per balloon.
- If you select more than 6 travelers, the final price per person is calculated during checkout; note that each balloon carries up to 6.
- The experience lasts 3 to 4 hours overall; the flight itself is around 1 hour.
- Pick-up and drop-off not available for lodgings outside the urban area, in nearby ayllus (Quitor, Yaye, Checar, Sequitor, Solor, Coyo), or in Toconao.
