You will leave in the morning from El Calafate towards the Glaciar Sur pier (Puerto Los Pioneros), to begin this South Glacier Adventure Trek and Navigation. You will begin the navigation to the bottom of the South Arm of Lake Argentino, going deeper and deeper into the Andes mountain range. Upon disembarking, the first trek will begin, which will take you to Frías Lake, which is only accessible on foot. The trail will take you through the lenga forest, until you reach the natural viewpoint of Frías Lake, from which you descend to the shore of the lake. You will board the Fitzcarraldo boat to sail 5 km through the emerald waters, until you reach the other shore where the second trek of just over 4 km through the valley of the Frías River begins. As you advance, the glaciers will begin to appear closer and closer, a pristine area of the Los Glaciares National Park with a valley that ends in an amphitheater, made up of the Grande, Cubo and Dickson glaciers. Here you will be able to enjoy this wonderful, unique, wide and exclusive landscape, and you will have free time to admire the landscape and have lunch on the shores of the Upper Frias Lagoon if the wind allows it (otherwise you will return to the dome to have lunch inside). After this you will begin the return trip along the same route, arriving in El Calafate at sunset.
