The 1-hour navigation is suitable for travelers of all ages. Departures operate every day of the year from Bajo de las Sombras Port (Route 11, Km 70.9), about 7 km (4.3 mi) from the glacier and approximately a 1.5-hour drive from El Calafate. Transportation to the port is not included, so be sure to arrange your transfer in advance.
