The hike begins at Estancia Alice, just a few miles from El Calafate, and follows the southern slopes of Cerro Frías along easy trails that can be adapted to the group’s pace and experience level. The route crosses the Patagonian steppe and native lenga forests, offering panoramic views of the Centinela River Valley, Lake Argentino, and the Rico Arm. Throughout the journey, expert guides share insights about the region’s landscapes, wildlife, and history. At the end of the activity, you can enjoy lunch or an afternoon snack, depending on your departure time, before returning to El Calafate.
