The first stop is Vista Chinesa, a scenic viewpoint with spectacular views of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Ipanema, and Sugarloaf Mountain. You will then visit Mesa do Imperador, a historic site where nobles and bourgeois families once held countryside picnics and where Emperor Dom Pedro I welcomed his guests.
The tour continues to Cascatinha Taunay, one of the park’s most famous waterfalls, and Mayrink Chapel, a small church built in 1855. You will also visit the Visitor Center and Açude da Solidão, one of the most well-known lakes inside the park.
You will also have the opportunity to walk along trails surrounded by Atlantic rainforest, perfect for enjoying the biodiversity and natural beauty of this remarkable park within the city.
