We will begin this journey from La Serena, traveling to the mining town of Andacollo, known for its devotion to the Virgin of Andacollo and its wooden basilica, where you will have time for photos and a snack.
You will then continue to the Collowara Observatory, one of Chile’s newest tourist observatories, famous for its 360° panoramic views. Here, you will attend an introductory audiovisual talk before starting stargazing with an expert guide and state-of-the-art telescopes.
You will also visit the observation terraces, enter the rotating dome, and use an electronic telescope to see celestial objects invisible to the naked eye.
Finally, we will return to La Serena, closing a night of astronomy, culture, and unforgettable experiences under Chile’s northern skies.
