Calama's Airport Shuttle

For shared and private services, the schedules are as follows:

• December 24: Service available for flights landing between 6:00 am and 7:05 pm, and for flights departing between 7:00 am and 4:40 pm.
• December 25: Service available for flights landing between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, and for flights departing between 11:00 am and 11:59 pm.
• December 31: Service available for flights landing between 6:00 am and 7:05 pm, and for flights departing between 7:00 am and 4:40 pm.
• January 1: Service available for flights landing between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, and for flights departing between 11:00 am and 11:59 pm.

The shuttle is available for all arrival and departure flights, all year round.

The shared transfer is confirmed with a minimum of 4 passengers for time slots between 6:40 AM and 9:00 PM, and with a minimum of 6 passengers for time slots between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The private transfer has no minimum passenger requirement to be confirmed.

For the shuttle from the airport to San Pedro de Atacama, once you arrive at the Calama airport, we will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it.

We will pick you up approximately 3 and a half hours before your flight departure time. We will reconfirm your pick-up time the day before your flight.

The actual shuttle takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. However, disembarkation times, waiting for luggage and the time to get to your transfer must also be taken into account, with an average of 2 to 3 hours between the arrival time of your flight and the time of arrival at your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama.

If you are not staying in San Pedro de Atacama, the meeting point will be at the intersection of Ignacio Carrera Pinto and Caracoles streets, located in the center of the town. You must indicate this in the field corresponding to 'Accommodation' when booking.

The shuttle is carried out in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle or similar, with a maximum capacity of 15 people.

In this case, you must notify us in response to the confirmation email of your reservation, indicating the new arrival time at Calama airport. We will relocate you to the available transfer closest to the new arrival time. Vehicle availability is limited and must be scheduled in advance. If there is no availability at the new time or if the new time is after 11:59 p.m. (time until which the service operates), a 100% refund will be made.

In this case, you will lose the originally booked transfer with no possibility of a refund, even if the arrival time is similar. If you wish to take a new transfer, you will need to arrange it on your own directly at the Calama airport or in the city of Calama (subject to service availability). We therefore recommend that, the day before your flight, you reconfirm with your airline the flight number and exact arrival time so you can inform us in time of any changes.

Children under 4 years old are free of charge, as long as they are sitting on their parents' laps. Children over 4 years old pay the adult rate. The service does not include child seats.

Each passenger may bring 1 bag of up to 23 kg, plus 1 small personal item to be placed on the passenger seat. To bring additional luggage, you must request a quote by writing to reservas@nomades.com. Oversized luggage such as bicycles, sports equipment, musical instruments, or wheelchairs is not allowed. This is because the vehicle trunks do not have enough space to accommodate this type of luggage.
