Known as the capital of the Puna, San Antonio de los Cobres owes its fame to the arrival of the Train to the Clouds, which travels from Salta to the viaduct La Polvorilla to 4,220 meters.
We begin our tour from Salta to arrive to San Antonio de los Cobres. During the trip, we enjoy beautiful landscapes of the towns of Campo Quijano, Río Blanco, El Alisal and the pre-hispanic city of Santa Rosa de Tastil.
Later, we will arrive to San Antonio de los Cobres, to 3,775 meters. On site, we will contemplate the natural beauty of the Puna and one of the most extraordinary works of world railway engineering. Then we will have a lunch break, and upon completion, will return to Salta.
