What to bring:
We’ll begin an unforgettable journey through northern Argentina towards the province of Jujuy. Travel across the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and reach the stunning Hornocal Mountain Range, also known as the Hill of 14 Colors.
The first stop will be in Purmamarca, home to the world-famous Hill of 7 Colors, where you can explore the main square and artisan markets. Next, visit Humahuaca, a picturesque town located at 2,939 m (9,642 ft), where you’ll see the Cathedral of Candelaria, the Independence Monument, and several museums. You’ll also enjoy free time for lunch and a stroll through the town.
The highlight of the trip is the Hornocal viewpoint, with its breathtaking natural rainbow-colored mountains, perfect for photos. On the way back, you’ll stop at the viewpoint of the Cerro Paleta del Pintor (Painter’s Palette viewpoint), another natural wonder of the Quebrada. Finally, we’ll return to Salta after a day filled with culture, history, and extraordinary landscapes.
*Pick-up is included from accommodations located between Av. 12 de Octubre, Av. Junín, Av. Independencia, and Cerro San Bernardo.
