You will depart by bus from Punta Arenas to the ferry crossing at Río Verde, heading to the estancia for a full day of traditional activities. There, you will enjoy a typical Patagonian lunch with spit-roasted lamb, salads, Chilean wines, and homemade desserts.
During the day you will take a guided tour of the estancia, exploring its facilities such as the shearing shed, corrals, manor house, shearers’ house, tool shop, engines, chicken coops, and more. You will also visit a museum with over 4000 pieces, showcasing 100 years of ranching and mining history of the island, as well as a small chapel built with native woods and cartwheels.
We will end the day at the estancia with tea or coffee, homemade cake, and sopaipillas, before returning to Punta Arenas after a complete Patagonian experience.
