Description

Experience a one-of-a-kind experience at Grey Glacier like never before in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. The Touching the Ice tour begins at Grey Refuge, where you’ll meet your guide and get ready for the adventure.

The journey starts with a 20-minute Zodiac ride from Grey Base to Nunatak Island. From there, you’ll take a 1-hour guided hike across rocky terrain to reach a scenic viewpoint with panoramic views of Grey Glacier.

At the viewpoint, you’ll have time to rest, take photos, and learn about glacier formation and dynamics from your guide. Afterward, you’ll hike back along the same trail to the island, board the Zodiac again, and return to Grey Base, where the tour ends.
