Descripción

We will meet at our meeting point at the Refugio Grey inside the Torres del Paine National Park to start this Touching the Ice tour. The activity starts with a 20-minute ride in a Zodiac boat from Grey Base to Nunatak Island. Here, we will begin a 1-hour hike over the rock that forms the island to reach a lookout point where we will be able to enjoy a full view of Grey Glacier. At this point, we will be able to rest and take pictures, and the guide will provide us with some information about the processes the glaciers are undergoing. After this, we will start the return hike to board the Zodiac boat and go back to Grey Base to end our tour.

*Activity thought for those who are making one of the W or O circuits in the Torres del Paine National Park.
