What to bring:
We will depart from Iquique towards the pre-cordillera, traveling through the Camiña Gorge, where the secrets of the Altiplano begin.
Along the way, you will admire the petroglyphs and pictographs of Chillaiza, traces of caravan routes once used by the Inca Empire. Later, you will arrive in Camiña, where you will enjoy a traditional breakfast before continuing to the Red Lagoon.
At more than 3,700 meters of altitude, you will witness the enigmatic Red Lagoon, whose depth and striking color remain a mystery. Here you can walk around, take photos, and learn about the legends that surround it. You will also visit the nearby Green and Yellow Lagoons, completing a truly magical scenery.
Finally, we will return to Camiña for lunch and then continue back to Iquique, ending a day filled with culture, nature, and the mysticism of the Chilean Altiplano.
