What to bring:
We’ll start from Iquique on this tour that combines nature, hot springs, and ancestral Aymara culture. The tour begins with a stop in the town of Huara for breakfast, before continuing to the imposing Cerro Unita, home to the famous Atacama Giant geoglyph, a fascinating vestige of the region’s ancient inhabitants.
Next, you’ll head to the Andean village of Chusmiza, located in a scenic gorge, where you can relax in its natural hot springs. After lunch in Cariquima, the adventure continues at Isluga National Park, where you’ll spot Andean flora and fauna along the Isluga River.
The trip also includes visits to the Aravilla lagoons and the villages of Mauque and Enquelga, perfect for learning more about Aymara culture and traditions. Finally, we’ll return to Iquique with unforgettable memories of this highland adventure.
