*This tour considers a total of 12 hours of bus trip, reason why it is designed for those who only have one day to know the Torres del Paine National Park from El Calafate. In case you have more days, we recommend to book the Torres del Paine Full Day tour from Puerto Natales.


Price

  • Adult: AR$ 250.000 per person.
  • Child (age 0 to 11): AR$ 200.000 per person.


We will pick you up early at your hotel to begin the trip from El Calafate to the Chilean border crossing, in a 3-hour ride by Overland 4x4 truck. After the migration formalities, we will begin the tour by the Chilean Patagonia, going to the Torres del Paine National Park. Here, we will visit its main tourist attractions: Sarmiento Lake, Amarga Lagoon, Paine Waterfall, and Salto Grande, among others. In some places, we will have different perspectives of the Paine Grande Mountain, the Cuernos del Paine, and the Torres del Paine, of course, that give the name to the park. In addition, we will visit the lookouts of the Pehoé Lake and the Nordenskjöld Lake. After this experience, we will take our transport back and begin the return to El Calafate, where we will end the activity.

*Remember that this tour does not pass by the city of Puerto Natales, located at around two hours of the Torres el Paine Park.


*The end time of this activity could be modified due to the weather conditions, reason why we recommend to buy tickets for leaving El Calafate considering three hours after the scheduled end time, or leave the trip for the next day after the end of the tour.


*If your accommodation is an Airbnb, we will have to set a meeting point to begin the tour because the pickup cannot be made in this kind of accommodations.

  • Even though both tours make the same route from El Calafate in similar times, the first one is made in a large bus, while the second one is made in an 4x4 overland vehicle for less passengers. Moreover, although is in private service, you can make the Overland tour during winter (previous consulting). Besides, like the tour is in a smaller vehicle, you can arrive back earlier to El Calafate. Also, the vehicle has larger windows that give you a panoramic view of the landscapes in the road.

  • The entrance fee for Torres del Paine National Park must necessarily be bought not later than the day before the excursion, in https://www.pasesparques.cl/. At the moment of the pickup, the guide will ask for the entrance fees to all passengers, including children and adults over the age of 60. If one of them does not have the tickets, he or she will not be able to make the tour and there will be no refund.
