We will pick you up at your hotel in Castro and head to Chepu, where we’ll begin a 40-minute boat ride. During the journey, you’ll witness the sunken forest, formed after the 1960 earthquake, and enjoy birdwatching, as this area is home to many species.
After disembarking on a beach, we’ll take a 20-minute walk to the Muelle de la Luz, a magical spot that offers one of the most spectacular views of the Pacific, perfect for relaxing and taking photos.
Later, a local family will welcome us for a traditional lunch, while explaining how local farmers have earned the GIAHS (Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems) recognition for their sustainable agricultural practices.
We will finish the day returning to Castro, carrying with us the serenity of Chepu, the history of the sunken forest, and the magic of the Muelle de la Luz.
*If your accommodation is in the Rilán Peninsula, we will have to set a meeting point because we don’t make pickups in that area.
