We will pick you up at your hotel in Castro and head to the Rilán Peninsula, making several stops to spot some of the most iconic birds of the area. From May to August, it is possible to see the Chilean flamingo, while from October to April you may observe the Hudsonian godwit.
Year-round, you can also find the elegant black-necked swan, as well as seagulls, ducks, and other species that inhabit these wetlands and coasts. An expert guide will provide detailed explanations about each species and its role in Chiloé’s ecosystems.
We will conclude the experience returning to Castro, with unforgettable memories of Chiloé’s birdlife.
