Valley of the Moon ticket: price and where to buy
The Valley of the Moon is one of San Pedro de Atacama's most iconic attractions, known for its dunes, unusual rock formations and landscapes shaped by the Cordillera de la Sal.
General admission is CLP$ 10,800. Visitors aged 11 to 17 and adults over 60 pay CLP$ 5,400, while children under 11 enter free of charge.
We recommend buying your ticket online in advance, especially during busy travel periods. The official website currently directs visitors to purchase tickets online.
Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache: entrance fee
The Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache are a group of seven salt lagoons surrounded by the Atacama Desert. Their high salt concentration creates a natural floating experience in the area where swimming is permitted.
Admission currently costs CLP$ 12,000 for adults and CLP$ 6,000 for children aged 5 to 17 and adults over 65. According to the current Nomades tour information, the entrance fee is paid in cash on the day of the tour.
Cejar and Piedra Lagoons: tickets and prices
The site includes both Cejar Lagoon and Piedra Lagoon. Although Cejar is often associated with floating in salt water, swimming is currently permitted at Piedra Lagoon, while Cejar is primarily a conservation and viewing area.
Tickets cost CLP$ 15,000 for adults aged 13 to 59, CLP$ 10,000 for visitors aged 60 and over, and CLP$ 5,000 for children up to 12 years old.
Tickets are purchased online and are valid only for the selected date and time.
Ojos del Salar and Tebinquinche Lagoon
Ojos del Salar is usually visited as part of the same excursion as Cejar Lagoon, Piedra Lagoon and Tebinquinche Lagoon.
The additional entrance fee applies to Tebinquinche Lagoon. It currently costs CLP$ 6,000 per adult and CLP$ 3,000 for visitors aged 5 to 17. On Nomades tours, this ticket is paid separately in cash.
Chaxa Lagoon tickets: prices and where to buy
Chaxa Lagoon is part of Los Flamencos National Reserve and one of the best-known places in the Salar de Atacama for spotting flamingos.
Tickets are sold online through the Toconao community's booking platform. Current adult prices are CLP$ 10,285 for Chilean visitors and CLP$ 13,714 for foreign visitors. Reduced rates are available for teenagers, seniors, students and other groups.
Piedras Rojas and Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons
Piedras Rojas, Miscanti Lagoon and Miñiques Lagoon are among the most popular high-altitude attractions around San Pedro de Atacama.
Ticket prices vary between Chilean and foreign visitors. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance and checking the latest rates before visiting.
Tulor Village entrance ticket
Tulor is an ancient pre-Columbian settlement made largely from adobe structures and offers an insight into the communities that lived around the Salar de Atacama.
Admission is paid at the site. Since mobile coverage may be limited in the area, carrying cash is recommended.
Yerbas Buenas Petroglyphs
Yerbas Buenas contains an important collection of pre-Columbian rock carvings and is commonly visited together with Rainbow Valley.
General admission is CLP$ 5,000 and is paid on site.

Rainbow Valley is known for the different colors visible across its mountains, created by the presence and oxidation of minerals.

Puritama Hot Springs: ticket prices
Puritama Hot Springs are located around 30 km from San Pedro de Atacama and feature natural geothermal pools surrounded by desert scenery.
Current admission is CLP$ 38,000 for general visitors, CLP$ 20,000 for children and CLP$ 17,000 for seniors. Tickets are booked online, with morning and afternoon visiting sessions available.
