Begin an unforgettable journey from Ushuaia to discover two of the most impressive lakes in Tierra del Fuego. Just 60 km (37 mi) to the north, Lake Escondido appears like a mirror of water surrounded by mountains at the foot of the legendary Garibaldi Pass, where you’ll enjoy incredible panoramic views.
From there, you’ll continue on to the imposing Lake Fagnano, a glacial giant that stretches all the way into Chile and amazes visitors with its deep blue color and rugged landscapes. Along the way, you’ll stop for photos and enjoy breakfast in a cozy lakeside refuge, perfect for relaxing and taking in the Patagonian surroundings.
The experience also includes free time at the charming Estancia La Carmen, where you can walk along the lakeshore, admire the piers, and simply disconnect in the heart of nature.
Important notes
- Lunch is not included in the tour.
- However, a table can be reserved at one of the available restaurants so you can finish the tour with a Patagonian meal (not included).
- The snack is a light breakfast served at Estancia La Carmen.
- Between June and September, Lake Fagnano is not visited at the end of the tour, but you will stop at one of the winter centers instead to do an optional activity (not included).
- The order of activities will depend on weather conditions.
