Descripción

We will meet at our meeting point to head towards the mouth of the Guerrico River. We will start the trekking part of this Sport Fishing & Trekking tour here, which will be a 7-kilometer hike (approx. 4.35 miles) to the first lake to go fishing. To get there, we will walk through a forest of coigües, lengas, and ñirres, where we will be able to observe these trees and identify the environment they grow in. Next, we will walk through a peat bog to reach the shelter available across from the lake we just visited. After a short break, we will continue hiking to the next lake, which is well-known for having trout, and where we will be able to go fishing. Anyone who would like to can hike 1 more hour to a third lake where you can go fishing. Anyone who wants to can stay at the available shelter to rest and spend some pleasant time together in this Tierra del Fuego landscape. Also, if the entire group wants to, we can end the activity at the shelter with a barbecue with local products from the Guerrico Ranch. After this, we will hike back to where we started the trek to take our transport and return to the ecolodge in Puerto Williams.
