Descripción

We will depart from Pucón, driving 40 km to the starting point of the hike. The ascent is non-technical but requires good physical condition, as you will cover 16 km round trip in about 8 hours. Along the way, you will cross native forests, volcanic rock fields, and possibly snow in winter, always guided by an expert.

You will discover the region’s local flora and fauna with the guide’s explanations, while enjoying sweeping views of ancient araucaria forests, Andean lakes, and neighboring volcanoes.

At the summit of the Quetrupillán Volcano, also known as Mocho, at 2,370 meters above sea level, you will admire breathtaking vistas of Lanín Volcano and the glacier covering Quetrupillán’s crater.
