Jack The Ripper Free Tour

We will gather at our meeting point to start this Jack The Ripper Free Tour. From here you'll head to Gunthorpe St, next to The White Hart pub, where you'll see the crime scene of one of Jack's non-canonical victims and get an introduction to Victorian London. You will then go to Brick Lane, also known as Banglatown, where you will see the place where the first of the victims was last seen. You will be able to travel back in time to discover the real Victorian London, in one of the poorest and most dangerous areas of the capital, through cobbled alleys and dark corners that have barely changed since the time of the murders. You will be able to analyze all the evidence and clues while visiting the crime scenes and you will learn about all the problems that the Metropolitan Police had when it came to finding the murderer. You will see a wide collection of photographs that will help you understand the surroundings and why this area was known as “the abyss.” You will also analyze the letters attributed to the murderer and that helped turn his crimes into an international phenomenon. The tour will end at Spitalfields Market, where you will learn about the Jack the Ripper main suspects and some of the most respected theories by “ripperologists”.
