We will gather at our meeting point to start this Essentials Free Tour + Changing of the Guard. You will head to the majestic Buckingham Palace, where you will learn interesting facts about the British Royal Family and witness the famous changing of the guard. After witnessing this moment, you will continue the tour passing by St. James's Palace and walking along the elegant street The Mall, next to the beautiful St. James's Park, the oldest royal park in the city. Then you will arrive at Westminster Abbey, the oldest temple in London and one of the most significant religious buildings in the United Kingdom, as it has been the scene of important events such as coronations, weddings and royal funerals. You will then head to the Palace of Westminster, where the two houses of the United Kingdom Parliament are located. Here you can admire its iconic façade on the banks of the River Thames. Finally you will visit the famous Big Ben, the name given to the large clock bell located on the northwest side of the Palace of Westminster. The tour will end in Trafalgar Square, the most important and central square in London, where the impressive Nelson’s Column and the National Gallery, the city's main art museum, are located.
