Descripción
We will meet in the town of Cerro Castillo and transfer to the trailhead. This challenging trek covers 21 km round trip, starting with an ascent that passes through the Porteadores and Neozelandés campsites, perfect spots for resting and taking photos.
From the second campsite, you’ll enjoy views to the west of Chocolate Hill, Punta el Olvido, and Cerro Palo. At the end of the Duff Valley, you’ll reach Laguna Duff, nestled at the base of Punta Duff (1500 m). From this spot, you can also admire the spectacular towers of the northern face of Cerro Castillo, a rarely visited and stunning area.
After enjoying the scenery, we will hike back along the trail to complete the loop and return to Cerro Castillo town, wrapping up an unforgettable adventure in Patagonia.
