You will travel approximately 4 hours from Split to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the largest and oldest national parks in Croatia. Here you can find a picturesque series of lakes, caves and waterfalls connected by one another. You will be able to admire the biodiversity of the park, as there are many types of trees here, such as pines, firs, beeches and the carpet of green ferns that covers the place. The park has several trails to walk, some with up to 300 steps. As you walk through this beautiful park you will see the wooden bridges that cross the park, amazing places to take pictures of the park, its lakes, turquoise streams and waterfalls. You will have time for a boat ride on the lake and also for lunch (not included) in a restaurant. After that you will return to Split.
