You will depart from São Paulo for a 180-km journey to the city of Aparecida, in the Paraíba Valley, considered the largest center of religious tourism in Brazil.
The first stop will be Porto Itaguaçu, where you can take photos and learn about the history of the region, its inhabitants, and where the image of Our Lady of Aparecida was found.
You will continue the tour heading toward the upper part of the city, the historic center, where you will visit the Old Basilica of Aparecida to learn about its history, architecture, and the story of other miracles that occurred in this church.
You will then head to the National Sanctuary of Aparecida, walking along the Footbridge of Faith, a walkway of approximately 400 meters that offers an incredible panoramic view of the sanctuary. Once inside, the tour guide will discuss the church's architecture and its fascinating mosaics located in the central dome. After the tour, you will attend a one-hour Mass at 12:00 noon.
After Mass, you will have free time for lunch and enjoy other attractions, such as the Sala das Promessas, the Tower Museum, the Wax Museum, the Aquarium, a cable car ride, or a visit to Bethlehem, located on the Mount of Olives. Afterward, you will return to São Paulo, concluding your tour.
