Descripción
We will meet in our meeting point to start this trip from Quito to the south. The first stop of the Quilotoa Lagoon Full Day tour will be the Romerillos Indigenous Market. There you will be able to see different products and buy something if you wish. On the way, you can visit some of the art shops, or see the products in your transport, o the pintores de Tigua (Tigua Painters), a symbol of the Ecuadorian indigenous people. In addition, you will visit the Toachi River Canyon, formed by the eruptions of the Cotopaxi Volcano.
Then, you will reach the border of the crater of 3 km in diameter where is located the Quilotoa Lagoon, at 3900 m of altitude. There you will make a walk to descend by the crater to the border of the lagoon, where you can admire the landscape and take pictures. After a break, you will go up for what you need some physical preparation, because of the altitude. Remember that this activity must be made in a 3-hour period. After that you will have time for lunch, and then you will return to Quito, to end the activity.
