Copacabana & Sun Island

We will pick you up early in the morning to go to the Bus Station of Puno, from where we will begin our 3 and half hours journey to Copacabana, in Bolivia. We will pass by the border crossing point Kasani, where we will make the migration procedures, and then go boarding the Titicaca Lake, with views of the Cordillera Real (Real Mountain Range, until reaching the meeting point in the Bolivian city. Here we will begin the tour by the sanctuary, the church, the market and the downtown, before having lunch. After this, we will navigate by the lake and begin a tour by the south part of the Sun Island, where we will make a hike by the Stairs of Yumani, built by the ancient inhabitants of the island. We will reach the Fountain of Youth, where we will be able to drink some water and verify if the legend is true. We will visit the Temple of the Sun and the Ruins of Pilcocaina. Then, we will go back to Copacabana to take the bus back to Puno and arrive at 9:00 pm.

*The transportation from the hotels Libertador, Casa Andina Private Collection, Ecco Inn, Posada del Inca, José Antonio and Taypika is not included.

*Those who have planned to continue towards La Paz (time of arrival 9:00 pm) will be able to do it from Copacabana, without any price variation, though. If that is your plan, you have to let us know answering the booking confirmation e-mail and tell to the guide at the beginning of the tour.
