Descripción
We will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning to travel to the main port of the city of Puno. Here, we will climb aboard our speedboat to start this Uros & Taquile Islands tour. Our first stop will be on an Uros Island, where our guide and the locals themselves will tell us about the way of life on Lake Titicaca. After taking pictures and seeing some handicraft fairs, we will get back on the boat to set off on the trip to Taquile Island. Here, we will be able to talk with the inhabitants and admire their textile work that is very well-known in the region. We will also be able to see the temples, tombs, and terraces that are still being preserved, as we receive information from the guide about how they used to be used, and that they are still being used in the present day. Finally, we will have our lunch and then start the trip back to Puno, where our tour will end.
