We will start at the Leones River, born from the Northern Patagonian Ice Field, and drive to the trailhead. The trek begins along the river, through a forest of lenga and coihue trees, typical of the region.
After 9 km of hiking in 2 and a half hours, we will reach Leones Lake, where we will board a boat to get a closer view of the Leones Glacier in a 45-minute navigation. This is the perfect opportunity to admire its sheer size and take unforgettable photos.
Back on land, we will enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by nature, before starting the 9 km return hike in 2 and a half hours to meet the vehicle that will take us back to the starting point, ending a full day of Patagonian adventure.
About the boat ride
It is possible that you cannot make the boat ride due to weather conditions when arriving to the Lake Leones’ shore. In case you cannot make the boat ride, we will make a 30% refund of what you paid for the booking.
