You will begin this Colonial Tour in Panama City, where you will be able to appreciate the surroundings of the Old Town and the churches that are present in this area. Here you will be able to visit the Church of San José or Church of the Golden Altar, which was an important part in the creation of the city in the Old Town or, as it was known at that time, “Castilla de Oro”, since it housed all the gold from the old city of Panama. Then you will be able to visit the churches of La Señora de la Merced and the Church of San Francisco de Asís, the latter restored in the last 5 years. On this tour you will also be able to see the Cathedral or Main Church, and the Ruins of the Company of Jesus. Finally, you will visit the ruins of the Chato Arch, which is part of the ruins of the Santo Domingo Convent , one of the first to be built in the new city of Panama.
