Description

We’ll begin this experience with an early morning departure from Lima, heading toward the southern coast of Peru. The first stop on the Paracas & Huacachina + Ballestas Islands Full-Day tour will be Paracas, where you’ll have time to enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant (not included) before continuing the adventure.


Next, you’ll walk to El Chaco pier, where you’ll go through a checkpoint before boarding a boat to the Ballestas Islands, one of the region’s top natural attractions. During the navigation, you’ll see the famous Candelabro geoglyph and admire the rich marine wildlife of the Pacific Ocean, including sea lions, guano birds, and, if you're lucky, Humboldt penguins.


After returning to Paracas, you’ll head back to the restaurant to enjoy ceviche, one of the most iconic dishes in Peruvian cuisine.


In the afternoon, you’ll continue the journey to Ica, where you’ll have time for lunch (not included). From here, you may visit a winery, either a traditional one, Tacama (considered the oldest in South America), or Caravedo, depending on the selected option. Here, you’ll learn about the production process and enjoy tastings of some varieties.


The next stop will be the Huacachina Oasis, a stunning natural oasis surrounded by towering desert dunes. In this unique setting, you’ll enjoy an adrenaline-filled experience with a 1-hour buggy ride combined with sandboarding on the dunes. Finally, we’ll return to Lima after a day full of landscapes, culture, gastronomy, and adventure.

Pickup is available only in San Isidro, Barranco, and Miraflores. If you're staying elsewhere, we’ll arrange a nearby meeting point in advance.

  • Breakfast is not included in the tour, but you can enjoy it in Paracas for an additional cost starting at 16 soles. At the end of the tour to the Ballestas Islands, you will also have the option to have lunch at the restaurant in Ica, with options starting at 35 soles. Both services are optional and must be paid directly on site.

  • The tour is partially accessible. Some activities can be adapted, but certain experiences, such as adventure activities, may have limitations. It is recommended to inform in advance about any specific needs in order to offer the best possible support during the tour.

  • Those who don't wish to take part in the buggy ride or sandboarding can enjoy more time at the oasis, taking boat trips around the lagoon (not included) or exploring the local shops for shopping.
