We will gather at our meeting point to head towards the starting point of the archaeological site’s excursions. Here a certified guide will welcome you to the tour. You will first visit Tulum, formerly known as Zama, a walled city of the Mayan culture located in Quintana Roo, on the coast of the Caribbean sea. Currently, Tulum is one of the most representative archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization. Your next destination will be the archaeological site of Coba, the old and mysterious Mayan city which has the tallest pyramid of the Yucatán Peninsula. Then you will visit the majestic Sacred Cenote, where you will enjoy its peaceful waters. Then you will visit the well known 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen, also known as La Quinta. This is a pedestrian street that is located beside the beach. Here you can find a variety of restaurants, spas, stores, jewelry shops, coffee shops, art galleries, crafts and souvenirs shops.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The tour involves walking over uneven terrain and unpaved areas, so it is not 100% accessible for people with reduced mobility or those who require a wheelchair.

  • You can bring a regular camera on the tour without any issues, but if you want to use a drone or professional equipment, you may need to pay an additional permit fee directly at the archaeological sites, so we recommend bringing extra cash.
