What to bring:
We will gather at our meeting point to head towards the Alameda Market, passing through two local neighborhoods, to try homemade food such as Champús and Cucas made by Caleñas. Between Afro preparations and European flavors, you will be able to appreciate the local culture and way of life. At the market you can find everything from fresh produce to clothing, crafts and household items. You can try traditional food and toast with viche, the artisanal alcoholic beverage typical of the Colombian Pacific. This experience will bring you closer to the flavors, colors, textures and regional gastronomic preparations, which are full of symbols and meanings, as they reveal social relationships, popular imaginaries and the use of the environment.
A free tour is a guided walking tour for which no fixed price is set in advance. At the end of the tour, the guide expects a tip as a thank you for their time and expertise, but the amount is up to you, depending on what you consider fair. It's a flexible and accessible way to get to know the city with the guidance of an expert.
