We will gather at our meeting point to begin the Jewish Museum & Jewish Quarter Tour.  With its impressive deconstructivist design by architect Daniel Libeskind, the Jewish Museum Berlin is a symbol of the city. The area is famous for its atmosphere, history, courtyards, and art galleries. You will visit several areas of this charming quarter that no visitor should miss. The tour starts in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg, in front of the main entrance to the Jewish Museum, where you will be able to learn about and visually appreciate Jewish culture in the permanent exhibition. Afterwards, you will visit the New Synagogue, an important work of architecture from the mid-19th century. You will also visit the Jewish Cemetery, where there is only one monument. This is because despite being holy ground, the cemetery was looted in 1943 during the Nazi regime. The tour ends at Hackescher Markt in the heart of Berlin, a square with unusual architecture that combines appealing shops, a wide variety of restaurants, and unique handicrafts.
