We will pick you up from your hotel in Antofagasta and head to the historic Chacabuco Nitrate Office, located 97 km away in the desert. At sunset, you will explore some of its preserved facilities before beginning the astronomical observation.
You will start with naked-eye observation, guided by our expert to identify planets, constellations, and bright objects in the sky. Then, you will use a 12-inch telescope to observe planets, nebulae, and galaxies, uncovering details invisible to the naked eye. You will also enjoy an astrophotography session, taking unforgettable pictures of the starry sky above the ruins.
Finally, we will return to Antofagasta, closing a tour that blends astronomy, historical heritage, and the magic of the Atacama Desert sky.
