Descripción
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning to depart from Tarapoto and take the road towards the Yurimaguas district. We will stop at one point to drop off the vehicle and start a 45-minute hike in the middle of the forest. We will get a chance to see the fauna that inhabit this place, and the guide will tell us about the trees and their curative properties, used by locals and their ancestors. Next, we will reach the top of a mountain in the Cordillera Escalera. From here, we will take a rustic raft to cross the turquoise river until reaching a thermal spring.
After stopping at these natural pools, we will continue along our way through the mountains as we observe the hillsides and exotic Amazon landscape. We will arrive at the Carpishuyacu Waterfall surrounded by trees and rocks, where we can take pictures and also rest and relax a little bit from the hike. Then, we will start the return trip to have our typical Amazonian lunch. After this break, we will return to Tarapoto to end our activity.
