On this trip you will take a two-hour walking tour of the archaeological site of Pompeii with a guide. This archaeological site located in the Campania region was a developed and sophisticated Roman city that was buried under meters of ash and pumice after a catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After the tour you will have time to have lunch (not included) and then head to Mount Vesuvius. Here you can take the transport that will take you to a certain point on the mountain from which you will continue the walk for 30 minutes to the top, where the guide will tell you about the history of the volcano. Afterwards you will have free time to enjoy the beautiful views of the place and take pictures.
