We will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning to go from Santa Marta to the Vereda Perico Aguao’, where we will enjoy a typical breakfast from the region. Then, we will begin the Nikwali Trek with a half-hour hike to visit the Posa Sagrada, where we will be able to swim and relax. Then, we will take an approximately 2-hour hike where we will be able to see the variety of flora and fauna in the place. Along the way, we will be able to see some Ahuarca homes, one of the four ethnic groups that inhabit the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta.
Then, we will arrive at the Don Dieguito River and then the Don Diego River. We will be able to swim and cool off from the hike in both places. We will go down the Don Diego River in floating tubes for 1 hour until reaching the place where we can have lunch. Then, we will continue downstream to where the mouth of the river flows into the sea. After this, we will return by boat to the village of Don Diego to take the vehicle back to Santa Marta.
