Description
We will pick you up very early in the morning to go to the north of San Pedro de Atacama. In the middle of the Andes Mountain Range, at a 4,200 m altitude, we will visit the geothermal field of El Tatio Geysers, formed by eighty steaming wells with high temperatures. We will see steam columns, which elevate towards the sky at the same time we see the sunrise over the desert. After this experience, we will take our transportation and we will visit the town of Machuca, where we will be able to buy craftwork and food products of the area. Then, we will go back to the city, ending the activity.

This excursion can be made every day of the year, except for January 1 and December 25.
The maximum altitude reached is 4200 m. For a good acclimation, our recommendation is to eat a light meal and drink lots of water the previous days to the excursion. Because of the altitude, we recommend leaving this tour for the end of your stay in San Pedro de Atacama.
- Breakfast includes tea, coffee, milk, juice, hot chocolate, fruit, bread, homemade cake and jams.
The vehicle used for this tour may be a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (or similar) or a Ford Econoline.
