Description
We’ll leave Punta Cana and travel by boat to the Samana Peninsula, a place where you’ll find a rare combination of natural wonders: lush jungle, a 60-meter waterfall, and breathtaking beaches that can only be reached by sea.
We’ll begin with a minibus ride to the boat departure point, where you’ll cross Samana Bay to Las Cañitas. Once there, a local truck will take you to Silo Ranch, where you can taste coffee, cocoa, and tropical fruits. Then, it’s time for a horseback ride along Arroyo Chico to El Limón Waterfall, a 60-meter fall surrounded by tropical jungle and one of the Dominican Republic’s most iconic natural landmarks. You’ll have time to relax, unwind, and take a refreshing swim in the lagoon at the base of the waterfall.
After these activities, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch while taking in panoramic views of the surrounding area. Then, you’ll board a boat to Cayo Levantado, where you’ll have free time to enjoy the beach and take a dip in the Caribbean Sea. The journey will continue into the whale watching area, where you’ll have the chance to see humpback whales in their natural habitat, a truly unforgettable encounter with nature.
