We will gather at the meeting point at the pier of Ribera del Duero to begin this 6 Bridges Cruise. You will navigate in a typical rabelo boat, a typical Portuguese boat originally used to transport Port wine from the vineyards to the places where it was stored for later marketing. Today these boats are specially equipped for the transport of passengers. During the 50 minutes that this cruise lasts, you will have the opportunity to see the historic center of the city from the river’s perspective and also Vila Nova de Gaia, the city south of the Douro. All this besides the six bridges in question: Arrábida Bridge, Freixo Bridge, Dom Luís I Bridge, Infante Dom Enrique Bridge, Maria Pia Bridge and São Jõao Bridge. You will also be able to see the Douro’s delta before returning to the place where you boarded the rabelo to finish the activity.
