You will leave from Oviedo to begin this Lakes of Covadonga, Cangas de Onis & Lastres Day Trip. First you will stop at the lakes where you can enjoy the nature, fauna and flora of the Picos de Europa National Park in all its splendor. During the journey along the winding roads of the Asturian mountains, you will be able to marvel at the spectacular landscape through the window. Once in the park, you will go up to the Entrelagos viewpoint to contemplate Lake Ercina and Lake Enol. After the guide tells you about the park and its curiosities, you will have time to enjoy the park on your own. Continuing with the tour, you will arrive at the Basilica of the Virgin of Covadonga, where you will learn about the origin of Don Pelayo and the beginning of the Reconquest. Then you will descend by bus until you reach Cangas de Onís, where you will have two hours to explore the place on your own. On the way to Oviedo, you will border the Asturian coast having unique panoramic views of the beaches of La Espasa, La Isla and La Griega, three must-sees on the Asturian coast. Finally, you will stop at the San Roque viewpoint to see Lastres from above, one of the most beautiful towns in the province.
