We will gather at our meeting point to start this Naples Guided Tour. Your first stop will be at the Duomo, the Naples Cathedral, the main building of worship in Naples dating back to the 13th century. Here is the oldest baptistery in the West, and you can admire the baroque-style Treasury Chapel and the Basilica of Santa Restituta. Here you can find some archaeological remains: a Greek wall, belonging to the temple of Apollo, a section of the Roman aqueduct after the founding of the city by the Greeks, and a section of a Greek road on an inclined plane. Then you will pass through the municipal square, where Castel Nuovo is located, also known as Maschio Angioino, it is an Italian medieval castle built in the city of Naples. You can stop on the hills of Posillipo, on the terrace of the church of San Antonio, to get the best view of the city and the bay. You can also go to the Piazza del Plebiscito, located in the heart of the city, and from here you can walk outside the most important historical buildings of Naples such as the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, the Palace of the Prefecture and the Palazzo Salerno.
