You will begin this Monterrey City Tour by visiting the Monterrey Cathedral, built between 1705 and 1791 and declared a cathedral in 1777. The building features a blend of neoclassical and baroque architectural styles, the latter especially in its façade.
The tour will continue with a visit to the Municipal Government Palace, the San Miguel Arcángel Bridge, Plaza Hidalgo, and the Nuevo León Artisans Market, where you can find souvenirs and regional sweets, including delicious glorias.
After visiting some of the monuments along the Macroplaza, which is considered the fifth largest plaza in the world, you will visit the Government Palace Museum, a quarry building over 100 years old, where you will learn about the city's history.
You will then visit the Santa Lucía springs, the site of the city's origin and founding, which have been transformed into a navigable canal considered one of the 13 man-made wonders of Mexico and now known as Paseo Santa Lucía. One of the boats will take you to the iconic Fundidora Park, a space of nature, tradition, and culture.
