We will depart from our meeting point in Máncora early in the morning to take the route to Tumbes. On this Cerros de Amotape National Park tour, we will be able to explore some attractions in the north of Peru, such as the Gran Chilimasa site museum or Cabeza de Vaca (“Cow Head”), as it is also known. Archaeological material is on exhibition here that was recovered from studies on cultures from the north who were there before the Incas. We will also visit a place where we can see green iguanas. Then, we will go up a lookout point in the park, where we will be able to see Tumbes and the border between Peru and Ecuador. Last but not least, we can enjoy a dip in the lagoon located in the middle of a ravine. After this experience, we will take our vehicle back to Máncora.
