We will meet in our meeting point to start this guided visit to one of the of the highlights of Madrid: The Royal Palace. The palace has an extension of 199,000 km2 and 3,478 rooms, the largest in Western Europe, and it was built by order of King Philip V over the remains of the Royal Alcazar destroyed by a fire in 1734. During the tour you will have the possibility to see different places, and admire the paintings, sculptures, and upholstery that decorate the palace. In addition, you will be able to tour the rooms where you can find a lot of works of art of different times, as well as the Stradivarius Palatinos’ instrument collection, built by the famous Italian luthier Antonio Stradivari during the 18th century, most valuable old instrument collection in Madrid, still used for chamber music concerts.
