We will gather in the meeting point in the pier where you will board the ferry to make the Magdalena River Boat Trip. The Magdalena River, born in the Huila Region, crosses almost all Colombia to end in the Caribbean Sea, and you will make this boat trip to have some privileged views of the surroundings of Barranquilla.
During the tour, you will see the Pumarejo Bridge and the swamp of Mallorquín, where you will make birdwatching and identify endemic vegetation. you will arrive to the end of the river, where you will see the Caribbean Sea and, of course, the Atlantic Ocean. Finally, you will visit the gran Malecón before return to our starting point and end the tour.
The navigation takes place on a tourist ferry specially equipped for this type of excursion. The vessel has a capacity of 80 passengers, providing a comfortable space to enjoy the journey while sailing along the river. On board, life jackets are available for all passengers, meeting basic safety requirements, and there is also a restroom on the ferry, making the trip more comfortable during the navigation. This spacious and stable ferry is ideal for enjoying the scenery of the Magdalena River while peacefully exploring the natural surroundings from the water.
